Jamaican American
Home Mortgage
Lending begins in 2027. Serving Jamaicans living in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Georgia and Maryland at launch.

Bringing You Home

You built your credit here in the United States. The house is there in Jamaica.

We are building a mortgage for Jamaicans who live and earn in the United States and want to own a home in Jamaica. One loan, in U.S. dollars, underwritten the way a U.S. lender would, secured by registered title in your name, and paid from your U.S. bank account.

Register your interest How it works
You are in the United States
Your job, your credit history and your bank account are in the United States. That is what we underwrite.
The home is in Jamaica
A second home or family home in Jamaica, on registered title in your name, valued on the ground by an independent valuer.
How it works

Four steps, from your kitchen table to your front door.

1
Apply

The same paperwork any U.S. lender asks for: pay stubs, bank statements, W2s. Nothing new to produce, and no Jamaican documents to chase.

2
Approve

Your income is assessed in U.S. terms. The house is valued on the ground in Jamaica. You get a decision in days, not months.

3
Close

You sign in the States. A Jamaican attorney closes in Jamaica, and the title is registered in your name. No flight required.

4
Own

One fixed payment from your U.S. bank account for the life of the loan. Property tax and insurance are handled through escrow, so nothing lapses while you are away.

Who is behind it

A U.S. banker who knows both sides of the water.

Jamaican American Home Mortgage is a program of Antilles Financial Group, founded by Brent Williams after thirty years of building and leading lending businesses at major U.S. banks. He is a dual citizen of the United States and Jamaica who has purchased, built and financed property in both countries, and he started Antilles for a borrower that neither Jamaican nor U.S. banks serve particularly well.

Be first in line when lending begins.

Tell us a little about what you have in mind and we will write to you when the program opens. This is not an application: we will not pull your credit, and nothing you enter commits you to anything.
